This website has been thought about for years, but not until I sold my picture framing business did I have time to devote to it. There are a few people without whose support, help, and encouragement the website would not exist and I feel it appropriate to thank them here.
Firstly I should mention Martin Orpen of Idea Digital who has done all the technical work for me and created the super website design. Martin's excellent work enables me to structure the website at will, upload images and articles as I wish, all without me having to worry about any technical stuff.
Staying with technology I must mention Peter Hayball, a local Windows software developer who over the years has guided me down wise paths with regard to PC hardware and software, developed specialized software for me, and been a pillar of strength in the inevitable IT panics that happen from time to time.
Peter's wife, Janet, has been a partner with me in the hand made greetings cards business for the last few years. It would have been impossible for me to make these handmade cards as well as Janet can, or find the time. Janet also looks after stock, some of the sales outlets, and somehow manages to make vast volumes of cards in next to no time.
Aida, whose Stepping Stones Gallery at Dundonnell is an absolute pleasure to step into, has been a guiding light for years and somehow manages to give me the most valuable and frank advice about art matters, even when critical, yet you feel grateful to have had the advice.
Finally, and most importantly, I have to thank my wife Isabel who has somehow put up with my workaholic nature in spending immense amounts of effort and time at my business. I doubt I could ever have created anything without Isabel looking after and caring for me.
