This gallery has landscape photographs for the area starting at Loch Droma, just before Braemore, thence onward along the shores of Loch Broom until Ullapool is reached. This journey takes us through the following communities, Braemore, Inverlael, Ardcharnich, Leckmelm, Braes, and Ullapool, all on the east shore of Loch Broom, and on the west shore Letters, Ardindrean, Rhiroy, and Blarnalearoch.
Ullapool is a fishing port on the Scottish West Highland coast and is the ferry terminal for Caledonian MacBraynes ferry services to the Outer Hebrides. In the summer it is busy with tourists because it is a good base to explore the North-west Highlands from, or to take a day excursion by ferry to the Outer Hebrides.
