This view was taken on the last holiday we had in Wester Ross before, one year later, Isabel and I decided to move north and live here. As usual I was up and about before breakfast hunting down landscapes to photograph, and the receding planes in the soft morning light of this view of the Torridons greatly appealed.
Taken from Lonemore In January, the view is looking south over Loch Gairloch to the Torridon mountains, Baos Bheinn, Beinn Alligin and Sgurr Mor, just a few of the mountains that crowd the awesome wilderness between Loch Gairloch and Loch Torridon.
