There is a fine view from the viewpoint at the village of Drumbeg in Assynt, it looks over Eddrachillis Bay to the mountains of the far north. However, I had left the viewpoint and walked down the steep hilside to the shore of Drumbeg Bay below.
Here I became intested in the way the water was swirling round the pebbles on the shore making ever changing sparkling patterns as the light reflected off the surface of the water. I took several shots at a slow shutter speed to let the highlights drag trails in the resulting image.
